KLASS est un groupe de konpa dirèk fondé en 2012 par le maestro Jean Hérard Richard “Richie”, après son départ du groupe Zenglen. Dès sa création, KLASS s’impose comme une référence du konpa moderne grâce à une fusion entre rythmes traditionnels, sonorités contemporaines et une direction musicale rigoureuse.Le groupe se distingue par ses performances scéniques énergiques, ses arrangements sophistiqués et la voix puissante de son chanteur principal Pipo Stanis. Leur premier album, Fè’l Vini Avan (2013), rencontre un succès immédiat, suivi de Fè’l Ak Tout Kè’w (2016) et Ret Nan Liy Ou (2019), qui consolident leur statut dans le HMI.En 2024, KLASS revient avec My Pain Killer, un album marqué par des collaborations majeures, dont Wyclef Jean et Rutshelle Guillaume, témoignant de leur ouverture artistique et de leur évolution constante.
